The Zinc layer on the steel coil is mainly carried out by two methods: hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. In hot-dip galvanizing, steel coils are immersed in a bath of molten zinc, which bonds to the steel surface. Electrogalvanizing, on the other hand, involves the application of zinc through the electroplating process.

Spangles are formed during hot-dip galvanizing. The size, brightness and surface of spangles mainly depend on the composition and cooling method of the zinc layer. According to the size, it is divided into small sequins, regular sequins, large sequins, free sequins and so on. They look different, but the sequins hardly affect the quality of the galvanized steel. You can choose according to your preference and usage.
